Collaboration is the College of Nursing’s first stated value. (Our mission, vision and values). Whenever possible, the college works with other colleges of the university, other universities, and outside organizations to solve common problems in health science areas.

As part of a “Doctoral/Research Universities-Extensive” (formerly referred to as a “Research I University”), the College of Nursing is proud of its diverse and creative research faculty and students. Our innovative researchers seek opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, cooperation, and co-investigation that bring scientific nursing discoveries to meaningful applications to the future of healthcare.

Partnering with Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, The Ohio State University Health System’s Center for Nursing Excellence, through the Collaborative Research Council, multi-disciplinary research projects, and through placement of graduate nursing research students, the College of Nursing aims to develop results that touch our daily lives and shape our future.
