Since 2004, the College of Nursing has recognized outstanding nurses at the annual Cameos of Caring awards gala, celebrating excellence in nursing care in Central Ohio’s health care facilities.
This fall, more than 300 people attended the black-tie optional event, representing most health care agencies in Central Ohio. Twenty-two recipients were recognized for their excellence in nursing practice and advanced nursing practice. The principal sponsor for the Cameos of Caring program is The Ohio State University Medical Center.
The 2010 gala is scheduled for October 16 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
