The College of Nursing has three study abroad programs for nursing students that offer the opportunity to learn new cultures and nursing philosophies. Students are exposed to a variety of health care systems, patient needs, and cultural impacts within the field of nursing. Students learn many new skill sets and gain appreciation for cultural differences.
Currently, the study abroad opportunities are in Australia, Denmark, and Honduras. Financial assistance is available for the Australia and Denmark programs.
