National Nurses Week
The College of Nursing observes a week of activities commemorating National Nurses Week, May 5-12, 2008. The following presentations will be given at Newton Hall on The Ohio State University campus. Monday, May 5, noon-1:30 p.m. Elizabeth A. Barker, Associate Professor of Clinical Nursing presents, “Making a Difference: Primary Care Nursing in the Global Community.” 172 Newton Hall.
Wednesday, May 7, 4-6 p.m. The Sixth Annual Edna Fritz Lecture. Dr. May Wykle, Dean of the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western University in Cleveland will discuss, “Celebrating Our Cultural Heritage As We Age.”172 Newton Hall.
Thursday, May 8, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Jodie Flynn, Forensic Nursing Program Coordinator at MedCentral Health System of Mansfield presents, “Forensic Nursing.” 244 Newton Hall.
